VOTE - LTA Tennis Awards 2027
🏆 LTA TENNIS AWARDS 2027 – WE’D LOVE YOUR SUPPORT! 🎾
Nominations are now open for the LTA Tennis Awards 2027, and we would absolutely love your help in nominating Branksome Park Tennis for “Park Venue of the Year.” We’ve been incredibly proud to win this award several times in the past (2018, 2021, 2023, 2024 and 2026), and it would mean a huge amount to everyone involved at the club to be recognised once again. Every nomination really does count!
The process only takes a few minutes. Simply enter some basic details, select Branksome Park Tennis as the venue, use our email address of branksomeparktennis@hotmail.com, and select the award criteria “Park Venue of the Year.”
⭐ Most importantly, you’ll then have up to 500 words to tell the judges why you think Branksome Park Tennis deserves the award. While submitting your nomination is hugely appreciated, what you write is particularly important, as this is what the judging panel will read when considering the award. The more detail you can give about your experiences at Branksome, our coaching, community, facilities, events, atmosphere or anything else you value about the club, the better!
It would mean so much to us to have the support of our players, parents and wider tennis community. Thank you for taking a few minutes to nominate Branksome Park Tennis! 🎾🏆
🌟 A Few Highlights From Our Year
If you’re looking for inspiration for your nomination, here are just some of the things that have made the past year at Branksome Park Tennis so special:
🎾 Record Breaking year of class bookings over the past 12 months, with around 80% of our scheduled classes running despite our British weather – an incredible reflection of our players’ commitment to year-round outdoor tennis.
🎂 Celebrated 100 Years of Tennis at Branksome Park – 2026 marked an incredible milestone for the club as we celebrated our 100th anniversary, having first been established in 1926. We marked the centenary with a number of special events and celebrations throughout the year, including welcoming the Mayor to Branksome for a special celebration day and even getting them on court! To leave a lasting legacy from our centenary year, we also planted 100 trees to represent 100 years of Branksome Park Tennis, celebrating our history while giving something back for future generations.🌲🌳
❤️ Our tennis community has also rallied behind an incredible cause. Head Coach Aaron’s wife, Rachael, is preparing to walk 100km along the Great Wall of China after her own breast cancer diagnosis, raising funds and awareness for breast cancer. Her trek group of participants has already raised an amazing £574,000, with Branksome members generously supporting her fundraising cause.
🏆 Record participation in our Club Championships and club leagues, with more players getting involved in competitive and social tennis at Branksome than ever before.
👨👩👧👦 A continually growing programme offering tennis for all ages & abilities. New classes and an expanded timetable giving players even greater flexibility and choice with new popular additions such as Tiny Tots (pre school tennis), giving more parents & young children a chance to enjoy tennis.
☕ Our courts and Café continue to be incredibly busy, creating a vibrant, friendly and welcoming environment where people come not only to play tennis, but to socialise and feel part of a welcoming community.
🎉 A fantastic calendar of social events, tournaments, championships, kids camps and community activities, bringing players, families and friends together throughout the year.
Most importantly, we’re incredibly proud that Branksome continues to show what a busy, inclusive and community-focused public park tennis venue can achieve. If Branksome has played a positive part in your or your family’s life over the past year, please tell the judges about your own experience – your words could make all the difference! 🎾❤️
