Environmental & Sustainability Project

Here at Branksome we are launching our Environment & Sustainability Project (Full Document Below). We want in 2025 to be a champion for environmental sustainability. Our three main aims are to:

1) Reduce our Carbon Footprint
2) Reduce our Environmental Impact
3) Further progress Ideas & Innovate

We shall focus our attention on 5 key areas for 2025:

• Phase our single use plastics

• LED highly efficient lighting and floodlights

• Reduce our electricity output

• Recycling of waste & tennis balls

• Use local suppliers to reduce transportation

Moving into 2025 and beyond we shall also aim to:

• Use recyclable / sustainably sourced materials for building and maintenance projects

• Encourage cycling and alternatives to using cars to reach the club

• Reduce wasted paper receipts and printing

• Reusable coffee mugs deals and offers

• Solar Energy possibilities
